Responsibilities Be part of a growing team that establishes new services based in China Work with a diverse team of different technical backgrounds on establishing a localized solution for service stability Help cross function teams investigate production issues with strong analytical reasoning and evidence Leverage existing tools to find service bottlenecks and opportunities for improvements Build on top of existing observability platforms to address new challenges Be part of on-call rotation that responds to urgent issues Requirements Excellent communication and documentation skills in English BS or MS degeree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience Worked as IT professional for at least 3 years, with at least 2 year as a SRE/DevOps Experienced in supporting microservices on AWS, troubleshooting production issues Solid understanding on basic networking concepts such as TCP, HTTP/HTTPS, CDN Experienced in backend development with at least one of the following programming language: Java, JavaScript, Python Familiar with at least one of the following time-series data platforms: Splunk, New Relic, SignalFX, AWS Cloudwatch Familiar with the Agile development process
