JOB POSTING
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to mechanical and electromechanical products, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve techniques, procedures, and products and technologies. You will design products to meet customer needs, product quality, manufacturability, new product development, prototype builds, testing. You will develop the product designs necessary to drive product improvement and will be integral in securing present and future business by consistently meeting or exceeding Voice of Customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
61 Designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
61 Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
61 Design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems that meet needs and requirements
61 Conduct experiments methodically, analyses data and interpret results
61 Test and evaluate theoretical designs
61 Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
61 Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
YOU MUST HAVE
61 Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
WE VALUE
61 5 years working experience in mechanical engineering, especially in HVAC and building control products such as motorized actuator, sensor and controller;
61 Expertise in transmission design and gear design, and design of injection molding parts, sheet metal parts, sintering parts and cast parts. The knowledge of mold and die will be preferred;
61 Working experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), for example Windchill/Teamcenter;
61 Skill with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., PTC Creo Parametric or other CAD software);
61 Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (Pro/Mechanica, ANSYS, or similar);
61 Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Minitab, Excel and etc)
61 Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
61 Knowledge of product compliance and certification.
61 Creativity and analytical skills
61 Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
61 Good English in both speaking and writing
